To achieve a beautiful tattoo, not only does it require the effort and talent of the tattoo artist but also the aftercare from the client.
Currently, you can find a lot of information about tattoo aftercare on the internet, but it can be confusing due to different and inconsistent information. So, what are the right tips for this?
With deep experience in this body art, we will provide advice for you and our customers on how to care for your tattoo after getting inked, based on our practical experience.
Essentially, a tattoo is an open wound. If you take good care of the wound, it will heal faster and leave no scars.
We will divide this into 3 parts: what to do, what to avoid, and suitable food choices.
Note that you only need to follow these for at least a week.
What to do:
Wash the tattooed area 2-3 times a day with clean water and pat dry with a soft tissue (just pat dry, don't rub or wipe with a towel).
Always keep the tattoo dry.
What to avoid:
Strenuous physical activities that can stretch the tattooed area, such as swimming, gym, football, etc. (You can exercise normally but avoid exercises that strain the skin or cause excessive sweating.)
Wearing tight clothing, as this can cause the clothing to rub against the tattoo.
No swimming in the sea or pool, no soap on the tattoo, and do not soak the tattoo in water for too long when bathing.
Do not expose the tattoo directly to sunlight, as this can cause your tattoo to fade when healed.
Do not scratch the tattoo. => And absolutely do not peel off the old skin that is peeling off. Just let it fall off naturally within a week.
And if you are allergic to the following foods, please avoid them:
Sticky rice
Chicken, chicken eggs
Beef
Water spinach
Seafood Consume foods rich in vitamin A and fruits, which are good for tattoo color.
Keeping your skin in the best condition is also a way to make your tattoo look better. Supplementing with foods good for the skin in the first week will significantly improve tattoo healing.
